We collect recipes that become a part of the traditions of our families.  Whether it's Christmas Dinner or the backyard barbeque.  We like simple, high quality and flavorful meals.  We hope you will find recipes here that will become a part of your family food traditions. Strawberry Jam
2 quarts of strawberries
1 package powdered pectin
1/4 cup lemon juice
7 Cups sugar
Wash strawberries throughly and remove stems. Mash strawberries in layers. Combine strawberries, powdered pectin and lemon juice in a large pan.  Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Add sugar, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Skim foam if there is any on top. Ladle hot jam into hot jars leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Put lids and bands on jars. Process 10 minutes in a boiling water canner.
Pretzel Salad
1/2 cup Margarine Melted
2 C. Crushed pretzels not to fine
2 Tbsp. Sugar
Mix and Press into 9 x 13 pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool.
Mix:
8 oz pkg. cream cheese softened
8 oz. Cool whip
1/2 cup sugar
Blend and spread on crust.
Combine: 2 pkgs. Strawberry Jello with 2 Cups boiling water. Add 2 pounds fresh Strawberries. Chill until consistency of egg whites not long if using frozen strawberries.  Pour over cream cheese and refrigerate.
Strawberry Smoothie
Fill Blender 1/2 way with frozen strawberries. Put a 1/2 cup of milk and one tablespoon of sugar in blender. Blend until well blended. You may also put other frozen fruits in there as well if you wish.
Strawberry Yogurt Dessert
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 Cup Strawberry yogurt
1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
1-8oz. frozen whipped topping, thawed
4 cups fresh sliced strawberries
In a large bowl, combine milk, yogurt and lemon juice. Fold in the whipped topping and berries. Chill until serving Makes 8-10 servings
